Stadiums
Sarawak has a good selection of sports facilities and venues, most of which are operated by the State Government and local authorities. The principal public facilities in each Division are listed below. Major towns and cities also have privately operated gyms, futsal halls, tennis and badminton courts, etc.
KUCHING DIVISION
STATE SPORTS COMPLEX
Jalan Stadium, Petra Jaya Kuching
Facilities include:
Sarawak Stadium, 40,000- seat state-of-the-art venue with Olympic quality Running Track, 8,400 sq metre Manila grass Football Field and extensive covered seating.
State Stadium, Kuching, capacity 28,000, with Running Track & Football Field.
Kuching Indoor Stadium (Stadium Perpaduan), capacity 4,525 (fixed) or 5,525 (including floor area), with Courts/Facilities for Indoor Sports.
Lawn Bowling Court for up to 20 players.
Extreme Sports Centre
for Roller Skating, Skateboarding and BMX. Indoor Sepak Takraw Hall, capacity 100.
Gymnastic Hall with facilities for up to 20 gymnasts.
Fully equipped Gymnasium. Archery Court for up to 30 archers.
Gasing (Top Spinning) Court with two Gasing rings.
Two Football Fields (C&D), each with Mini-Grandstands. Facilities: Changing
rooms, suraus (prayer rooms), PA & lighting systems, portable stages, electronic scoreboards,
conference rooms, press facilities, VIP facilities,
first aid facilities, kitchens and canteens. They are capable of hosting a wide variety of sports including Football, Rugby, Athletics, Archery, Basketball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Lawn Bowls, Sepak Takraw, Badminton, etc. They are also suitable for hosting events including concerts, festivals, stage shows, workshops, meetings and promotions. STATE HOCKEY STADIUM (MAJLIS BANDARAYA KUCHING SELATAN)
Jalan Padungan, Kuching 1,000-seat purpose-built Hockey Stadium with Astroturf field, grandstand, floodlights, PA system, meeting room, VIP facilities, surau (prayer room), outdoor training field and canteen. SARAWAK STATE SPORTS COUNCIL Jalan Taman Budaya, Kuching
Includes 1,000 seat Multi- Purpose Hall, Sultan Iskandar Planetarium, Gymnasium. Suitable for events, meetings, seminars, theatre, cultural shows, festive celebrations and exhibitions.

TENNIS ASSOCIATION Jalan Crookshank, Kuching Major venue for International Junior Tennis Tournaments. Seats for 1,000 spectators and facilities for Volleyball, Futsal, Sepak Takraw, Badminton and Basketball.
