    Cucur udang (prawn fritters), a popular snack found throughout the Malay Archipelago. They are usually served with a spicy chilli and tomato dipping sauce.
Roti canai, a circular flatbread made with layer upon layer of thin, folded dough, is a popular Indian-influenced Malay breakfast dish or morning shack, served with a dipping bowl of curry or dhal.
Tosai or dosa, a delicate fermented crepe made from a special rice and black lentil flour. Often served as
a dessert, in Sarawak is it also popular served with a vegetable curry and pickles.
Banana leaf rice. This popular all-you-can-eat South Indian dish consists of rice (steamed or biryani style) served on a large banana leaf with a variety of vegetable accompaniments and relishes. Fish or meat curries can be added for a small surcharge.
   A vendor prepares murtabak, a savoury Indian Muslim stuffed pancake filled with chicken, mutton, corned beef or even sardines. Like roti canai, it is served with a curry or dhal dip.
