Malaysia Airlines, known locally as MAS, is Malaysia’s national carrier and flies an average of 50,000 passengers daily on 360
flights to some
60 destinations worldwide, as well
as 30 domestic destinations (together with MASWings, see facing page). Its
base is at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), with secondary hubs at Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. MAS is also a member of the oneworld alliance, the world’s premier airline alliance. Malaysia Airlines holds a lengthy record of service
