Pustaka is a major information resource for both the public and the private sector. It
is linked to libraries within Sarawak, Malaysia wide with public access to information centres globally. A centre
of knowledge and cultural awareness, Pustaka provides a vast store of information and frequently conducted instruction sessions. Services offered include:
Public Library Services - promoting reading and reader development in Sarawak. Lending Services - members
may borrow books and/or other library materials. Children’s Infotheque - educational software and multimedia materials for children 12 and below.
Special Needs Group Services - life-long learning facilities for those with developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. A private room and staff assistance are provided.
Information Literacy Skills Programme - enables users to utilize modern and traditional tools to effectively search for information.
