BUKIT AUP JUBILEE PARK
Jalan Bukit Aup - Rantau Panjang, 8km from Sibu Town Centre.
The park covers 24-acres of rolling hills, with a lookout tower offering views of the surrounding countryside. Features include picnic huts, a canteen, a suspension bridge over a small lake (good for photo opportunities), jogging and walking trails.

Sungai Merah Confluence, 5 km from Sibu Town Centre This 2-acre memorial park commemorates the life of the Rev. James Hoover,
a Methodist missionary
and educator who worked with pioneering Foochow immigrants during the early days of Sibu, from 1903 to the 1930’s.

SUNGAI MERAH HERITAGE WALK
Sungai Merah Bazaar, 10 minutes drive from Sibu Town Centre
Sungai Merah (Red River) is an old bazaar and the site of the earliest Chinese settlements in Sibu. The pleasant walking trail along
the river front leads through a quaintly landscaped park to the Wong Nai Siong Memorial Garden, erected in honour of the Methodist missionary who brought the first Foochow settlers to Sarawak.
