to Artisans has conferred Edric with their Advocate Award for creating economic opportunities for craftspeople in developing countries.
Edric is President of Society Atelier Sarawak,
the organiser of ISEND- WEFT 2012 and previous WEFT forums. The World Crafts Council (WCC) Assembly 2012 in Chennai, India, elected him Senior Vice President (Asia-Pacific for South East Asia) for 2013-2016. EO is available at prestigious boutiques and galleries in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, London, New York, Seattle, Tokyo and Zurich.

One of the state’s pioneers of ethnic fashion wear is Jamilah Shukri, who founded Anggun Collection in 2001
to promote Sarawak’s ethnic motifs, expressed in modern, elegant and fashionable styles.
Her boutique provides consultancy services on fabric and fashion, and caters for individual and organizational needs. Jamilah actively promotes Sarawak’s ethnic designs locally as well as in Japan
