the Miri River and the South China Sea. It is a popular and thriving private club with an active membership of over 1,000.

HOW TO GET THERE
Private car or taxi, 25 minutes from Miri International Airport, 15 minutes from Miri City Centre, and 2 hours from Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei).

a slope rating of 131. It is basically a walking course with limited buggies available. To compensate for the flat terrain, Miri’s golfing pioneers added strategic water hazards and bunkers which, combined with the course’s extreme narrowness, make for a challenging golf experience. The entire course is shaded by ancient casuarina trees.
The signature hole is the intimidating No. 12 par-3. It appears to offer an easy birdie opportunity at only 159 yards, yet the green is immediately after a large water hazard that can unsettle even the most seasoned player. The longest hole is the daunting 580-yard par-5 No. 6, although this is by no means the most difficult for big hitters.
